Yesterday we took a hard loss to the Lancers. We came in confident but had not touched a field in 12 days due to the recent weather. That showed when we took the field as the ball didn’t bounce our way, and there were some mental errors, but they are fixable. A scoring summary: a passed ball scored a run, a suicide squeeze scored a run and finally there was a two run home run. Also our guys were not swinging the bats well, but we have our days, and Thursday will be our day. We plan on coming in ready to split the series. We felt the field of disappointment and defeat, and they will feel the same feeling this Thursday. If you get a chance, come out and cheer on the team as we face St. Joe’s away at 4:30.
