Dear Class of 2021

Written by Christine Gill

Dear Class of 2021,

Thank you for such a fun year! I know that it must’ve been hard and quite long transitioning from 8th grade to high school but, you guys made it! As a senior, I know we might’ve been a little intimidating or a little hard on you guys but that’s all just tough love. As a class, we have seen you guys grow from the little ones who didn’t know how to open a locker to strong 15 and 16 year-olds who know pretty much almost everything about Dominican.

As seniors, my class often thinks back to the time when we were freshmen and we realize how far we’ve came through the days. We remember all of the petty, foolish and crazy things we did to each other and just in general. So, we’re here to tell you that it’s going to be okay. Be nice to each other, love each other and cherish each other, because, in 3 years you guys will look back and realize that no matter what y’all went through, you guys are each other’s backbones.

We know you guys will miss us dearly, and we might just miss you guys too. But, we know you guys will be great and thrive at whatever you do! If you guys ever need anything we will be here to help you but more importantly, you guys will be able to help each other!

Have a great three moreyears!

Sincerely, A
