The Boys varsity volleyball team played Eastbrook Academy on Monday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m. Dominican is coached by Mark Rybakowicz, and assisted by Adam Vecitis. Dominican was 1-2 in conference heading into the game. Eastbrook Academy was 2-0 in conference heading into the game. The starting lineup for Dominican was Jackson Corcoran at middle hitter, Jack Kister as setter, Andrew Ottaway at outside hitter, Riley Maszk at outside hitter, Jack Hillman at libero, Calvin Ottaway at middle hitter, and Sean Repinski at right side hitter. When I talked to star middle hitter Jackson Corcoran, he told me he expected to win in three games because he did not believe Eastbrook was very good. He also expected himself to play well, he ended up with 6 kills which is a very good match.

Dominican lived up to Corcoran’s expectations, winning in all three games. The team played very well as a unit; they played their hearts out on the court, and it paid off with a big win. Corcoran said that going forward this win will give the team momentum, and extreme confidence.
