The boy’s football team played their Homecoming game on Friday September 28th. Their opponent was Burlington Catholic Central. Dominican’s record was 4-2 before Friday’s game, and Burlington Catholic Central’s record going into the game was 2-4 heading into the game. Dominican is coached by Coach Q and Spencer Smith. We talked to star player Bennet Jelacic. He expected his team to play a very fundamentally strong game. He had confidence in his teammates to ensure they would get the victory. When we asked Ben if he had any personal goals for the game, he responded by saying that he cared more about how the team did overall than his individual stats. This shows that Jelacic is a true team player who wants whatever is best for his team.

The team showed up in a big way winning the game 28-21. They played a great game that was full of amazing performances. The team did exactly what Jelacic expected them to do. They played a terrific homecoming game.
