By: Elizabeth Ortiz & Jaselena Haliburton

This week a senior, by the name of Jymuir, will be interviewed as he was selected as the student of the week this week. Since the start of freshman year, he has been most known for playing football. He is also selected for being very caring to everyone in the Dominican community, and he is academically dedicated. Jymuir’s teachers think of him in the same manner especially this past month of his senior year. Interviewed by two of his fans, this is how the former football player responded.

I think that my favorite part has been playing football and meeting new people.

  1. Which class has been the most challenging for you?

All of the classes I have taken so far have given a ton of homework and it is kind of hard to balance between school and sports having all of that homework.

My favorite sport to play is football, but I enjoy watching basketball.

  1. Do you have a favorite teacher?

Yeah, my favorite teacher is Mr. Mueller.

  1. How have you been able to keep up with all your homework and games?

Yeah, cause most of our games are on Friday so that gives me the rest of the weekend to do my homework.

  1. What differentiates the Dominican community from all others?

I mean like Dominican has a family atmosphere and we are pretty close unlike other schools.

  1. If you could change one thing about Dominican what would it be?

DRESS CODE.

I play two sports.

  1. What college do you want to attend?
