Written by Christine Gill

Pharrell Williams has been a pioneer in both the music and fashion industry. He has both sung and produced multiple hit songs while also becoming a staple in the fashion industry. He started his own company, Billionaire Boys Club(BBC), and he also has a steady partnership with Adidas. And that is where the Adidas NMD Hu comes into play. The shoe is part of Adidas rise back into streetwear culture and is considered a grail by all sneaker heads. This weekend Pharrell and Adidas are set to release two pairs of NMDs. The Adidas Hu Pharrell x Billionaire Boys Club Multi-Color which is slated for general release and the BBC exclusive pair by the same name. BBC exclusive NMDs typically resell for around $1000 and are on the level of some of the best shoes in terms of their limited numbers and their extremely high value. With The NMD Hu both Adidas and Pharrell have cemented themselves a spot in streetwear culture, and as long as they continue to put out heat as they have been, we could see a collaboration that almost rivals that of the one between Nike x Off-White
