2019 Milwaukee Auto Show!

Written by Gus Wilson

This week was the Milwaukee Auto Show which brought in a lot of people which means a lot of potential customers for some of the dealerships around the Metro Milwaukee area. The show brought in some surprises including the 2020 Shelby Mustang GT500, 2020 Jeep Gladiator pickup truck, and 2020 KIA Telluride SUV. I enjoyed going to show not only since I knew there would be a lot of great vehicles, but because I went with one of my friends who is a fellow gear head who just so happened to be old enough to test drive some of the cars. Specifically, the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack which has the biggest engine Dodge makes called the 392 (cu in. or 6.4 liters) Hemi (Hemispherical piston heads) V8. The engine packs a punch even when applying a bit of throttle with 485 horsepower and 475 foot-pounds of torque on tap along with a few performance goodies up it’s sleeve. The interesting thing about the car is that it is fast even with only 485hp, but it pulls well for a car that weighs over 4,000lbs.

The show had some beautiful exotic cars from the likes of Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Maserati, and many more. Alfa had their Giulia Quadrifoglio sports sedan with the 505hp Ferrari V8 derived V6 and available all-wheel drive system. Porsche brought their brilliant Cayman sports car and plush Panamera wagon/liftback, both very well optioned out with great paint colors. Maserati brought their very bright and fast GranTurismo Convertible sports car which is powered by a 4.7L V8 which makes a glorious sound when the driver puts his or her foot down.

The show made for some great laughs and an awesome video.
