Q:How long have you been teaching? And how long have you stayed in DHS?
A: I have been teaching since 2001. I started at DHS in 2015. I have taught English as a second language in 3 Countries. I have taught it in high school and university settings. I have also taught Interpersonal Communication, Business Communication, Public Speaking and Composition at the university Level.
Q:Why did you come to DHS?
A: I was interested in teaching international students at Dominican High School because I live in the area, I know people who have gone to Dominican, and I am familiar with its good reputation.
Q:What’s your teaching style?
A: My teaching style involves developing good relationships with students. I understand their language needs and academic needs.
Q: Did you have a good time in DHS?
A: I love it! I love my colleagues and students.
Q: What are some memorable experience for you in DHS?
A: I love Knight Walk, the talent shows and the Multicultural Day. With my personal memory with students, I enjoy the jokes we share, and what it is like to be an international student in the USA.
